Thomas Kinkade - An Author
I knew that Thomas Kinkade was a renowned painter. I have his calendars and a number of jigsaw puzzles of his paintings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he is also an author - a NY best-selling one at that.
One day, in the library, while browsing for something to read, I found a book, The Inn At Angel Island , with his name on the cover. I had no idea what kind of book this was. I thought that perhaps it was a book about him. When I flipped through the pages I realized it was a novel - a novel that he had written about Liza Martin, an advertising executive who came to Angel Island to sell an inn her deceased aunt had owned and run and left to her after her death...
I was instantly intrigued to see how the story would unfold. I took the book home and as soon as I began to read I found that I did not want to put the book down. It was just that good. I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I was moved and entertained and taken into a world I did not want to escape.
After reading this book I am now a fan of Thomas Kinkade as an author and plan to read all of his other books - the ones he has already published and those yet to come.
Thomas Kinkade - Talented Painter And Writer
Not only is Thomas Kinkade an extremely talented painter but he is also an extremely talented writer/author. Just like his paintings, his writing fills us with warmth, light, and beauty. The stories he brings to life are heartfelt, touching, entertaining, interesting, and those we can connect with at least in some way.
If you have not checked out his books yet, I think you should. You will not be left disappointed. And who knows? Maybe you will be come a fan...
